Phil Simmons

President & CEO

Phil Simmons is President and Chief Executive Officer of IDEATE Medical Inc., bringing more than 25 years of leadership experience across healthcare, life sciences, and medical technology. Throughout his career, he has focused on building and scaling high-growth organizations, commercializing innovative technologies, and developing teams that translate breakthrough technology into meaningful customer impact.

Prior to joining IDEATE, Phil held senior commercial leadership roles at Bruker, where he led the North American commercial organization as Vice President of Regional Sales. His career also includes leadership roles with Millipore Sigma, Intoximeters Inc, and entrepreneurial experience as a co-founder of SAGE Labs, where he helped build the company from an early-stage venture through its successful acquisition.

Phil brings a combination of entrepreneurial perspective and commercial leadership to IDEATE as the company enters its next stage of growth. As CEO, he is focused on establishing SteroScope as a new standard in endoscope sterilization, building a scalable commercial organization, and advancing IDEATE’s mission to improve patient safety through innovative sterilization technology.

Phil holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Missouri-Columbia, and a Master of Business Administration from Webster University.
