Steve Wilhelm is a Certified Public Accountant with more than five decades of experience in accounting, finance, and business management. As Chief Financial Officer of Ideate Medical, he brings deep expertise in strategic financial planning, capital management, and operational oversight, guiding the company’s fiscal growth and long-term sustainability.

Steve is a founding partner of Wilhelm & Wilhelm, LLC, a St. Louis–based CPA firm serving a broad range of clients in professional services, technology, and manufacturing. Over his 50-year career, he has advised and co-founded multiple successful ventures across diverse industries—including environmental services, professional consulting, retail, and wholesale distribution—providing financial leadership from startup through expansion.

In addition to his professional practice, Steve serves as Treasurer and Member of Environmental Restoration, LLC, a leading national environmental services company. His pragmatic financial acumen and entrepreneurial experience make him an integral part of Ideate Medical’s leadership team as the company advances its growth in medical technology innovation.

Steve holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Accounting, and Finance from Northwestern University.
