Philippe is an accomplished, versatile engineer, product innovator, and entrepreneur with over 25 years of international experience in product development and R&D across MedTech, automotive, aeronautics, and consumer industries. His expertise spans mechanics, electrical engineering, computer science, and automation, enabling him to lead complex, multidisciplinary projects from concept to market.

As Vice President of Engineering and Co-Founder at IDEATE MEDICAL, Philippe has been instrumental in shaping the company’s technological foundation. He has driven the development of the core concepts and technologies behind its advanced medical devices, overseeing all aspects of product development—from design and prototyping to validation and manufacturing. His technical leadership ensures that IDEATE MEDICAL’s innovations meet the highest standards of performance, reliability, and manufacturability.

Philippe is also the founder of IED3 (Montreal, Canada / Nantes, France), a multidisciplinary engineering and design firm specializing in breakthrough innovations for medical and industrial products.

Earlier in his career, Philippe held senior engineering and design roles at Q4 Applied Design, Gad Shaanan Design, and SERETEC, where he led cross-functional teams in developing complex electromechanical systems and award-winning industrial designs. His portfolio includes medical devices, aeronautical simulators, consumer electronics, and automotive components.

Philippe holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from ENIM (École Nationale d’Ingénieurs de Metz, France) and completed composite engineering studies at McGill University (Montreal, Canada). He is named as an inventor on multiple international patents and was honored with the GOOD DESIGN Award for his engineering of the CAE 5000 Series Full Flight Simulator. Known for blending creativity and technical rigor, he excels at solving challenging design problems.
